I really enjoyed this series. I have never read anything from this author before & to be honest my expectations were not very high. There seem to be a lot of average shifter books out there but this series is definitely one of the better ones. I found it to be well written with great story lines & characters. The story progressed well & keeps you engaged the whole way through. I would happily recommend this series & am about to go & check out other books from this author.Product details

Between the MCs and the story I Loved this series! I can imagine them going on to a whole series of adventures. Something along the lines of a Gay/Shifter Clive Cussler group of adventures with multiple sub plots along the way. I look forward to new books from this author. She has the potential to corner this niche market.
But I like Lissa Ford. Loved the "Double Back" books and this was on KU, so I figured, what the hell. I actually enjoyed this. Two big, muscled, military types getting down and dirty? Absolutely. Aside from the shifter stuff, I enjoyed the action sequences. And I liked the reluctant lover aspect. So, I had a good time reading. Won't make me seek out this sub-genre but I might read some from favored authors like Lissa.
When you read m/m werewolf romance novels on unlimited like I do, you learn to keep your expectations low, so I was very pleasantly surprised to stumble across this series. There's decent plot! And character development! And nobody gets pregnant!
The series is well-written, with no noticeable stylistic or grammatical errors. The characters behave reasonably for their circumstances, and the insta-love mate thing that plagues so many shifter romances is enjoyably subverted. I highly recommend this author.

this author did the greatest job with this series. i felt each book could be read as a stand alone. the books were well written and enjoyable to read. the plot and characters were great. i loved the kristof and dix, they were a match made in heaven and their relationship evolved beautifully. great read for sure.
I am so in love with this set! I can reread to my hearts content. Such complex characters, and they develop at an easy pace(not shoved up your gourd). I will be reading any I can get my hands on now, huge fan. I enjoyed the creative writing in this story, especially when it came to our main alpha. I was strong, dominate, but willing to embrace life. I am impressed. Thank you so much for the awesome read!
